(Exact convo with myself). Listen, I stayed up until 2am watching MANIFEST (So great btw) ....And when my alarm clock went off I slept in another hour, so my whole day just felt "off". I'm sure you know that feeling, so I had to stop over thinking about what I needed to get done and just START DOING.
Ya know what taking action does?! It silences the noise in your head....you know, that voice that gives you all the reasons to do OTHER things.
And exercise helps with that focus... ya think that oxygenated blood goes JUST to your muscles!?!
Nah man. You think more clearly after a sweat sesh and you start becoming the type of person who does what they "WISHED" they would do.

Not My Job
Good thing it isn't our job to make other people like us. It's our job to make sure that we like ourselves.
We do this through positive and loving thoughts, words and actions.
I get it guys, life can be tough when you feel you are doing the BEST you can and you continue to help others, try to be EVERYTHING for someone else.
You wait for validation and approval from others but it sometimes never comes.....but let's be honest, you are ONLY seeking it from others because you haven't given YOURSELF this acceptance.
Only YOU can fulfill this need.
I know bc I have struggled with people pleasing for YEARSSSSSSSS so I too have to remember that Happiness comes from within & yes, you and I are both worthy of it.

My positive thing.... I am not a quitter. I tend to fail at a lot of things but I also KEEP TRYING to get better and I'm grateful that I have learned this skill.
Horseshoe Day
He did say we would be working our horse shoes today. I gotta be honest with ya, when I started this program I felt like it was a little slow...but hear me out. He was laying such a strong foundation for each move to be executed properly and actually taking the time to teach about proper body mechanics & he really stressed about WHY you might struggle with certain moves and what to do to build on your weaknesses...and even as a trainer/instructor for nearly 10+ years I too learned SO MUCH.
That was stage 1. Now that I'm into stage 2(starts at week 5) I can see & FEEL how he is building on from those foundational moves.
Guys this program is incredible and while I'm not even at the halfway point I can guarantee I'm going to CONTINUE to learn and grow(in knowledge & triceps)
With that said, why don't you join me? I've got a new group starting prep week September 20th. We ALL need to focus more on strength mobility and longevity so why not learn from an NBA Trainer who knows his stuff and makes you WANT to keep showing up for your workouts and nutrition?

While Beachbody offers everything and MORE that these companies ALSO offer , Beachbody gives BACK to us Coaches. Sure they could KEEP IT ALL, but YEARS ago this business model came up and DIDN'T GO AWAY and is NEVER GOING AWAY.
So ask yourself, are YOU are inspiring others to get healthy? Because shouldn't YOU get paid for it?!?! I'd say yea. But I know what you are thinking...

We are supportive and meet our clients where they are at, no one size fits all, we listen and see what TYPE of nutrition & fitness program is right for them.

Non-Scale Victory
Let's talk about non scale victories. Do YOU celebrate them enough!? Usually after I finish a program I go and buy myself a new workout outfit. And notice how I didn't mention when I lost weight, or inches or gave up processed sugar....etc. NOPE. Because here's the thing... if I focused SOLELY on those things I wouldn't have a healthy body image.
To me a healthy body image comes from the CONSISTENT WORK(and rest) that I do. Bc I'm showing my self love through healthy actions.
And that means that I'm deciding and COMMITTING to a program. Whether it's 21 days or 12 weeks. To me, that goal of starting AND FINISHING deserves a reward. Ya feel?!?!!?

REACT Mode
In a lifetime you will have slept 33 years, tried to sleep (hello laying bed on socials and/or hitting that snooze) another 7 years. Crazy right?!!?
So with the time you have left how you we spending it and are your choices in your life Value Driven?
As in, with the choices you make, are they in alignment with what you truly want out if life?
Most times we are in REACT mode and we do what we do....bc that's what we do! Obviously right!?
But how often are you making decisions based on your values?
Because I think too often I've been in the REACT MODE for far too long and I didn't question what I did...I just did it.
& we wonder why are so many of us feeling lost or unfulfilled or unhappy in life, relationships and work?
Well I think it comes down to...
NOT THINKING ABOUT OUR VALIES ENOUGH.
So let's do something about it.
So before the next decision you make, maybe think about how your decision will affect you...not in the HERE AND NOW, but how it will affect you tomorrow, next month, next year & over your lifetime.
And maybe include something like...
Because I VALUE my relationship I will CREATE time to sit down and talk to my spouse about having a date night EVERY WEEK.
Because I VALUE my family, I am spending my free time doing fun things with them and creating memories every month.
Because I VALUE my health, I am drinking 100 oz water daily, listening to personal development, eating 80% clean & pushing play on my program or go to the gym at this specific time everyday.
Because I VALUE my contribution to the world, I am working towards helping as many people as I can in a job that aligns with my beliefs.
Because I VALUE my life I am living in alignment with my decisions and more importantly MY ACTIONS.

Hellllooooo superfoods. Yes, I'm telling ya to drink this, why?! Well there's too many reasons to list, but I can tell you I've been drinking it for 7.5 years and to me it's worth it, and if ya need an ingredient list, just ask
#3 Make your environment suitable for the lifestyle you want.
Workout outfit at the ready, yup.
A push play program with no commute time, yup.
My blender AND superfoods out on the counter so I SEE IT. Yup.
A pantry full of foods that I won't go cray on. YUP...
And let me dive into that lst one bc it's REALLY IMPORTANT...
GET RID OF THOSE DORITOS.
I had to also. And when I really want some, I drive to the gas station for a SINGLE SERVE bag. Bc I CANNOT have a large bag in the house.
I know my weaknesses and I also know that's what I MUST DO in order to be successful at this. Bc yea, I have a history if bingeing and starving, so why climb a mountain and decide to break my legs before I even begin?!? Bc that’s what food addiction & emotional does to you.
But there's hope, ohkayy?! Now go throw away that crap and message me if you need a plan that is HOLISTIC & NOT A DIET OR A QUICK FIX & STILL ALLOWS YOU TREATS....This is a lifestyle baby, and I'm here for it
The Reason Why
The reason WHY I became an Online Coach was money, but I STAYED committed not bc of income but because how I felt on this journey.
When I became a Coach in 2014 we were on the struggle bus.
Eddie and I both are college dropout outs so you could say us "creative", "Looking for fun in our jobs" type ppl just weren't too driven when it came to working for others. I mean don't get me wrong we are hard workers, but neither of us saw us in the careers we were in LONG TERM.
So when Coaching and working online came up I joined an Online Company that I "kind of" aligned with. After 2 months and enough protein powder to last me a year and $800 spent...and a financial fight with the hubs, I quit and the following month I spent $140 to join another Online Coaching company...& YES, this one I DID align with.
I wanted to learn how to eat holistically...like REAL FOOD. I already had a binge/starving eating disorder and didn't need to be told to ONLY drink things...it only made my cravings worse...trust me. You don't want to see me hangry...ask Eddie
I ALSO wanted to be able to offer workouts that didn't rely on me SOLEY teaching ...bc dude my body was ALREADY over trained, why add ANOTHER class to my already broken over-trained body!?!?!
Lastly I didn't want others to feel the same burden of spending $400 a month to get results. I can't afford that, how can I expect others to!?!?
So $140 it is and I can offer all that!? Cool...maybe this IS what I was looking for?!!?
And yes, it was, here I am 7.5 years later.
Yea, what I do rocks and yea the money is amazing, but even MORE amazing is the group of people that trusted themselves on this journey WITH ME. Learning that TRUE health is not a size, it's a mentality.
The fellow Coaches whose lives are forever changed because we GET the opportunity to do this TOGETHER is something I don't take for granted. Talk about a TRIBE who has your back
Also being able to work from home with Eddie is a dream come true.
And YES, the rewards and incentives and traveling (like this years trip to Maya Riviera)...like dude, how is this real life?!

Selfie, in the sun, break between work Yesterday was pay day in the Coaching world and I shared something with my team mates that I wanted to share with you too....
I'm grateful for my paycheck this week bc.... we just paid $267 for a new tire and it didn't break the bank.... like it used to.
I remember when our car broke down when we were first married and we had to wait 2 weeks before we could afford to buy a car....we had to borrow a friend's car until then and I just had this guilt about not being able to afford a car when we needed it.
Why does ADULTING HAVE TO SUCK!?!?!!?
Money issues didn't end there. We also couldn't buy a house or take time off work & I just felt STUCK.
... but I had HOPE for a better life when I met some ONLINE COACHES crushing it & I was curious...a little envious...ok let's be real..
REALLY REALLY ENVIOUS of their lifestyle.
I thought long (almost 2 years) before I signed up. Progress was slow, but my hope for a BETTER tomorrow was strong. So I kept at it....
& since then I am so grateful that Coaching has given me the freedom of working from home(or while sunbathing at a friend's house) ... & also this year I bought my dream car.
It's such a different feeling having bills pop up and NOT freak out. I can't even explain it.
I share this with you because maybe you are in the same predicament I was & you are looking for something like this too.
If you are a dreamer AND someone willing to work from their phone, then let's chat. I will teach you EVERYTHING I know. ( I mean you are on social media for an hour a day already, might as well get paid for it)
Yes, this takes work, time & consistency but it's so so worth it.
Let's make the word "ADULTING" fun...because I haven't had this much fun since I was a kid soaking up the rays before summer break ended...and I can thank this career for this.

About 10 years separates these pics!! Overcoming emotional eating & overtraining is the reason I'm never going to stop inviting you to do this with me.

In 2011 I was teaching 15+ fitness classes a week & practicing routines for another 10 hours a week, so YES I was working out 25 hours a week! It's no wonder I was starving, overeating& bingeing ALL.THE.TIME.!
Im currently down to working out about 5 hours a week with Online Coaching & the programs I offer/follow!!! And that's STILL including my weekly Zumba Toning class I teach!!!
I know some people might think this 'workout thing' came easy to me but let me tell you something....It took me nearly 2 years to sign up...then another 3 years to finally COMMIT to a program START TO FINISH.
And now that I have started AND finished over 10 programs these last 4 years I am SO MUCH HEALTHIER- in every sense of the word.
Im sharing this because it's Ohhhhkkayyyyyy if you have failed, over and over again(just like I have). And it's also ok if you are still on the fence about this! I talk to SO MANY PEOPLE and something we ALL have in common....we are afraid to FAIL in front of a friend.
I get it, but I want YOU to know that what I needed when I started was a friend that STILL loved me even through my failures and that's why I fell in love with Coaching. We have eachothers backs. We encourage eachother and UNDERSTAND that life happens!! Nobody's perfect and that is NOT the goal- a HEALTHY & HAPPY LIFE is the goal
I want YOU to know that you aren't alone in this. I want you to know that me & my group are rooting for YOU. So whether you are showing up for the 1st time or the 10,000th time, I'm proud of you!!!
With that said I am starting another group in about 30 days & of COURSE I want you there bc I want you to experience these real and positive changes WITH US.
So how about it?!? In 31 days my group is starting a 3 day detox to help heal the gut from over processed foods then we begin THIS PROGRAM on September 20th. Ya gonna keep watching, or ya gonna crush this WITH US?!?!
