How to break down that BIG HUGE DAUNTING GOAL...

ask yourself HOW... then write that down...

Then again ask yourself how that above answer is going to be done.

Then again, ask yourself how that answer above is going to be done.

Then break it down again until you realize what you need to do for 28 minutes a day.

You have 28 minutes to scroll social media, but couldn't that be better spent towards living a life you really look forward to living?

Your 28 minutes could start today. And in April 2024 you could be on the other side of this goal, or at least a lot closer to it!!!! How does that feel? Enough to take the action? That's up to you.

Mud Isn't New

Ya ever heard of that mud water?! I was thinking of trying it, but I love my coffee, then I looked up the ingredients and it has mushrooms and it's benefits from Chaga, reishi and cordyceps....dude, well so does my shake that I've been drinking for the last 9 YEARS!!!!

I know "superfoods" is such a buzz word right now, but seriously my company has been doing this right SINCE THE BEGINNING

Heres what's in my Superfoods shake today in case ya want a yummy recipe!!!!!

Summwr Vibes Shake
2.5 cups tropical frozen fruit(pineapple, strawberries, peaches & Mango)
collagen
turmeric
12 oz almond milk
vegan vanilla superfoods blend

Blend 1 minute

Motivation is a Lie

Motivation is a lie. Stop telling yourself some people are just lucky, or know the right people or are smarter, more beautiful or whatever.... Get out of your own way and do the work and make your future self happier. right now!!! And I'm not just telling you this. I'm telling ME this. Because I know I need to hear it too. Like all day errrdayyyyy

Fear of Food

I USED TO FEAR FOOD.

This last trip, I was able to eat and drink what I want without guilt or shame & that is HUGE.

It's day ONE of my Food Freedom group & todays video really hit me. Too many people demonize food and think " I eat BAD".

I thought this for YEARS and even had a very unhealthy relationship with both food and the scale. Which left me trying to find what was "RIGHT."

So what was "RIGHT"?
(keep in mind, this "RIGHT" way of thinking was NOT helpful to me or my mindset around food)....

> Starving myself
> searching for the 'popular' food with the words..."low fat", "high protein", "sugar free", "low carb"....etc.
> 30 day cleanses where you drank more than you chewed

All of those 'diets' made me feel tired, angry and STILL I felt OBSESSED with food. I still had 'food shame' when it came to having 'treats' so it would spiral the next day into starving. Then the bingeing would start all over again.

This was my story FOR OVER A DECADE.

So what helped me? My mindset shifted OVER TIME & my Registered Dietician taught me there was a better way.

This is NOT a quick fix, instead this is a program that allows you to LEARN & become more CONFIDENT & more in CONTROL of what you eat. She has helped me SO much- and that's why I share this.

If you struggle, just know you aren't alone, and YES, I would love to do this program WITH you.

Meet Ilana

I loved the MEET ILANA video! My takeaway was that she was so resilient through her childhood! I loved that she said even during her struggles with her weight at 8 years old the nicest person to her was her dietician and she knew when she grew up she wanted to become one and help others just like her R.D. did for her. I freaking love this FOOD FREEDOM Program!!!!!

I'm Proud of You

Sometimes I still struggle with that need to be liked. I'm still that child looking for approval, and it could be the middle child of 5 kids syndrome, but the more I take care of my health (especially my mental health) I start to recognize those triggers that make me feel less than.

When it happens, I have to pause, take a few deep breaths, put my hand on my heart and say, I'm doing OK and I'm enough and I'm proud of you, Sarah.

Can you repeat that RIGHT NOW!? LITERALLY, repeat it and put YOUR hand on YOUR heart and say those words and end with YOUR NAME.

did you do it??.... I can wait......

(One minute later)

I'm proud of you. Thank you for doing it.

If you struggle with this approval too, just know you aren't alone. And it's also ok to have these moments. Proves you aren't a sociopath, so that's a good thing, ya know?!

You care because you ARE a good person. And no, you don't have to compare your life to anyone else's.

So stop, and reflect on something you are proud of today. Did you celebrate that? If not, maybe it's time.

It's time to celebrate your wins, not just big wins, but the small tiny wins you might have overlooked.

You are kind. You are passionate. You care for others. You are doing good in this world. you are enough. You are worthy of love.

You don't need validation from someone else. You need this love, approval and validation to come from YOURSELF. Right now.

Shake for Dessert

I'm gonna have my superfoods shake for dessert, so I decided to dive into the "VEGGIES most" concept from our FOOD FREEDOM meal plan and made a "hot salad" for lunch instead.

I used my quick chopper and chopped....

Onion, broccoli, mushrooms, and sautéed with olive oil and "better than bouillon" sauce.

Once cooked I added the kale so it was just slightly cooked, and added 1/2 an avocado to mix in.

I always say I'm not a cook, but honestly this was easy and tasty. Maybe there's hope for me and cooking after all. Anyone else trying to add more veggies to their diet? What's a veggie filled recipe you like?
