That's why I wear a mic when I teach my Virtual, In person or recorded classes. Yes, I want you to feel the music, but I want you to get the MOST out of your workout so that you can come back STRONGER every time you show up!

My Barre Beast and Hiit The Floor classes are about 33 minutes work, and 12 minutes stretching at the end. I've seen people TRANSFORM in my classes and it's because we focus SO MUCH on form and flexibility!

Trust the process and yes, have fun, but always remember when in doubt......(fill in the blank... my peeps know)

Three Weeks!

You Belong Here, Too

The most courageous thing you can do in this life is go after what it is that scares you.

I hadn't been feeling courageous because I got too comfortable coming up with excuses why I felt stuck. I now realize it's because I was too busy comparing myself to others. Like....

  • I should be further along than I am.

  • I should have more people signed up for what I offer. I should have more success stories from helping people.

  • I should have more engagement on social media.

  • I should be making more money with this.

  • I should stop feeling guilty for what others do or don't do.

That list of SHOULD just kept me thinking of what I didn't have.

When I made a NEW list of what I had and also made a list of what I was capable of then I realized it's OK to KEEP TRYING because I HAVE come so far already.

I got too comfortable in this "STUCK" phase, and that's when I allowed myself to judge myself too harshly. I wasn't focused on growing my mindset!!!!

I had to get back to the basics and remind myself to see opportunities & not the obstacles again.

Instead of asking yourself ...what IF it doesn't work out?...Instead think on what IF it all worked out? What could that look and feel like for you and the people you love?

When you can think of the possibility, you will replace this anxiousness with excitement for what COULD BE.

Live in that for a minute. Journal about it. Read about how others are doing it. And finally, ALLOW yourself to be a beginner with this. You are MORE than ready. You know it too.

This is YOURS and MY reminder to take a chance ON US RIGHT NOW.

The Life of the Fitness Instructor

Ah. the life of the fitness instructor....I was gonna do this Thursday, then I didn't. Then Friday it was..... but my body had other plans. Fricking period, sorry tmi....#notreallythatsorry .... so here we are filming for my PATREON Community on a Sunday.

But to be honest, I love being able to teach my own formats. It's been a long time coming, and I'm so so grateful for the people who have trusted me on this journey.

This month was trial and error with seeing what will give you the BEST quality, and I'm proud to say this is the BEST I've ever brought. The music, lights, movement, and the affirmations I'm going to be starting EVERY class with going forward is something I'm PROUD OF.

I freaking LOVE it, and I think you will, too. I'm sending out this week's calendar at 5am EST So if you want to start on it ASAP, you can!

New vids filmed EVERY week for you and I KNOW you will get great results from this, but even more importantly I KNOW you will fall in love with moving your body with intention and self love through this process.

Thoughts Before Going For It

The thoughts you will have before you GO FOR IT...

I'm not confident now, so how can I do this?

What if people judge me?

I don't know how to start.

I failed other things, how will THIS be any different?

Listen sis, I FEEL YOU BC I AM YOU!!!!

And guess what? Fear is just keeping you living in the past and the "what IFS".

The only way through this part is ACTION. TRUST ME.

I've been doing some scary things lately, like realizing I AM WORTHY to try new things and also helping others understand that they don't need to change, instead we all need to EMBRACE who we are and take ACTION towards the life we want to live!!!!

I've talked to fellow fitness entrepreneurs about this and instead of being put into this box of RULES, What if we broke them...ALL?!?!!?

No more titles.

No more Brands.

No more restrictions.

I'm learning alongside a team of fit-preneurs that are learning to love who they are so they can also offer MORE for their friends. Because we CAN HELP.

You and I both believe that the RELATIONSHIPS we have is what connects us to our "fitness family".

We CARE that others get the help that they need & they KNOW they can rely on us because we are MORE than a fitness instructor or trainer....

we are called FRIEND.

And that RIGHT THERE is how I KNOW you could do this too.

STOP waiting on the sidelines and watching others social media peeps living the life that YOU WANT!!! You deserve to he here so, let's create OUR OWN RULES. YA FEEL ME?!?!!??!

And NO, this isn't about signing you up for ANOTHER fitness CERTIFICATION or LICENSE with ongoing fees and BRANDING you with ANOTHER title already OWNED by someone else. I'M SO OVER THAT AND I THINK YOU ARE TOO.

Nahhhhh, you are ENOUGH, and how YOU want to help people is UP TO YOU.

Get out of the car....

Hey there, how are you doing? Like truly....how are YOU? Today on my FB Live I broke down and cried in my SWEAT Life group as we were wrapping up on episode 6 of the podcast REINVENT YOUR LIFE & I think there's a heaviness that I and the live listeners were feeling this morning.

This podcast is all about taking the wheel of life and to stop the car, get out of the passenger seat and look at who is driving your car and be SUPER HONEST about it.

I felt that I have been allowing my "people pleasing" to drive my car. If I just do ENOUGH for others then that WILL be what it takes to get me to where I want to go. My fear to be ENOUGH for others has been directing me where to go and what to DO. I feel pulled in 10,000 directions all at the same time and when that happens I'm so lost and just along for the ride I guess.

I'm in this stretch of interstate with no signs directing me where to go, just hoping for the best then at the next stretch the traffic is heavy, the signs are everywhere and I can't get off of my exit because I'm on the wrong side, doing all the wrong things because I THINK I need to do them.

Do you know what I mean!? I say all this because if you feel that way too, then just know you're not alone.

I'm not saying I know HOW to kick out the driver and stop being the passenger in this 'react mode' but what has helped me when I feel this sense of overwhelm is to UNPLUG and take care of ME.

I listen to some personal development. I journal(in this case email you I do some yoga and stretching, I drink my superfoods shake and I hug my husband and pet my pets & unplug from social media and messages.

That grounds me, that let's me know it's OK, to NOT be the passenger, and also NOT be the driver.

I've pulled off the side of the road, got out of the car and let the warmth of the sun spill onto my face & just let me, BE. I breathe deeper and I'm in this moment of gratitude for just being alive and standing.

Maybe that's what you MUST do in order to go from passenger to driver. you must STOP, FIRST.

So check in time. What are you STOPPING right now?

Is it your Fear of failure? Is it your need for others approval? Is it procrastination? Is it shame for something you need to let go of? Is it to tell the negative voices, that have not paid for any of the gas, you are FINALLY kicking them out of your car?

Whatever it is, please pull over. Walk around and find yourself again. Maybe wash the car, get new tires & tell it you are taking it somewhere amazing because the NEW driver is showing up soon & it's no longer going to be a bumpy ride. Safe travels my friend. You are going to be OK.

CRAZY SKEPTICAL

When I signed up back in 2014 I was struggling with binge eating & overtraining. I KNEW I had a problem but wasn't willing to admit it. I actually did finally sign up but only to be able to offer more guidance as a Coach for the people in my fitness classes.

After just a few months I was able to really recognize my triggers & I started adding in a daily habit that I STILL do today.

EVERYDAY I still drink the superfoods shake I started with. (even though I was CRAZY SKEPTICAL about this. )

That ONE staple created a domino effect throughout my day. I added in all my fruit for the day & even added some veggies to my shake. My gut felt better and I started "going" not just 1x a day but now 2-3x a day!

I had NO IDEA how much my gut needed this change!!! Then I started the exercise programs when I was able to cut back on my teaching schedule. I am now stronger at almost 40 than I EVER was in my 20's!

Trust me, this WORKS; the fitness, nutrition & mindset- ALL OF IT!!!!

Next challenge starts March 6th (GOING GREEN) and yes this superfoods shake AND my pre workout come with the pack!!!

What's your worth? Isn't it time you treated yourself with the love and respect it deserves too? And no, you aren't giving up ANYTHING!!! You are ADDING to your life with this. No more restricting, bingeing or shame around food and excercise. Let me show you how
