Day 33

Well I was going to ONLY share about how I felt, but I can ALSO see a difference! I am starting ALL of my clients with this program because having this food freedom is so worth it.

Am I OFF this way of eating now that I finished the program? Heck to the no, but YES there are changes going forward with this way of eating for me.

Tonight I'm introducing alcohol back, but this time it's different. I'm drinking only now on social occasions.

I find that if I have a white claw or Moscato in my house it becomes too much of a 2 a day habit and I KNOW I'm not feeling my best when I drink daily.

And as for the other food changes I've made, I feel back in control and I'm not even TEMPTED to go back to certain things. I have found alternatives to my favorite things by eating more plant based and I LOVE the way I feel and I LOVE the healthy healing foods I’m eating, why would I stop that?!?!!!

I never thought I would feel this good until I felt THIS GOOD. I hope everyone gives this program a chance because it is life changing. #guthealthmatters

Step #1

If there was ever a STEP #1 to getting healthier its.... THIS.RIGHT.HERE.

And 4 years ago, even when I bought this cup, I felt like I got ripped off..."why the HECK would I spend 20ish bucks on a WATER BOTTLE!?!?!?"

Well, this little cup has traveled with me EVERYWHERE and no, I'm not trying to sell it to you...I would if I could tho

But for reals tho. Start tracking your water. Set alarms on your phone and maybe you ALREADY have a water bottle, time to dust it off and start dating again bring back that newness to your relationship with water again.

I used to drink pop as a kid...then soda as an adult(bc I moved to Pennsylvania and that's what it's called there). So yea, I wasn't always this excited talking about H20, but over the years I KNEW it SHOULD be a priority!

And as an adult you have a say in what you eat or drink, so do your TOMORROW self a favor by treating your TODAY self like you love yourself.

Do you have a fav water bottle too?! What's your water goal and are you hitting it today?! My goal is ALWAYS 100 oz, I don't always hit it, but when I am getting that goal accomplished more often I FEEL so much better! It's worth it friends!

Thank You, Moms

Whenever I hear someone say "I'm just a mom" or a "SAHM"...I want you to know that taking on the role as a Mother is the HARDEST job there is!!!

So I hope today (and every day) you see yourself the way I see you....as an incredible, brave super human who does what's needed to be able to help the next generation create a better future than the last.

I commend each and every one of you mommas, and I THANK YOU for the work you do. It's not often appreciated most days, but from someone not wanting to take on that responsibility, I have the MOST respect for my momma friends and family. Love you ladies!!! You inspire me to work my hardest in what I'm passionate about also.

Happy Mothers day friends....

This also goes to the single dads raising their kiddos alone too, I know a few of you and I also want you to know how much I respect and admire you too. XO

Don't Boldly Go

DON’T go boldly in the directions of your dreams.

Why would I say that? Here's why:
Because when you begin, you start out timid, afraid & fearful of what others think of you.

When I began teaching fitness classes in my early 20's I was scared out of my mind (my chewed up nails were proof of my anxiety).

It took YEARS before I felt confident teaching.

When I was 29 I became an Online Coach and had an ACTUAL PANIC ATTACK during a team meeting.

Was I feeling BOLD and BRAVE when I said yes!?!?!?? Heck to the NO.

But I knew what I wanted in life and that WANT for change was BIGGER than the "comfort" than staying stuck.. Can you even call it "comfort zone" when you're sleeping and eating and work ALL stressed you out?! Nope.

Here's what's important to me and WHY I did decide to do this:

I wanted the freedom to work my own hours.

I wanted to retire Eddie from his job so he could do this with me and also pursue things HE was passionate about. (3 years into Coaching we did that.)

I wanted to be able to buy a house. (5 years into Coaching we did that.)

I wanted my dream JEEP. (7 years in, we bought it!)

I also wanted a BEACH HOUSE...that is yet to come but I KNOW I will get there because my work lays a path for me to work to get there.

If you are driven but scared to reach out, just know, I WAS TOO.

I stalked people Online doing this for almost 2 years before I decided I NEEDED this too.

No, you don’t need a big following (I teach you that)

No, you don’t need a fancy website or create your own app( you get one when you sign up).

No, you don't need a lot of time. When I started this business, I would mostly work on my one day off from all my gym jobs until I could cut back from my hours working for others so I could eventually work for MYSELF.

& No, you don’t have to come up with meal plans, workouts, supplements or a support community.

You get ALL THAT & you OFFER ALL THAT to your future clientele.

Wow, This Works

Even with having a "treat" meal yesterday...(mmmmmm sushi rolls) I'm kinda digging the no bloat and more muscle mass lately....

Who knew this Gut Health program with the 30 min (only 4 days a week) weight lifting program would do so much!!!?!?!? Tbh, I wasn't expecting to feel THIS good.

Did I mention I'm starting ALL new clients and fellow Coaches on THIS program...why? Because you might ALSO have food sensitivities you don't even know you have!!!!

When you take back control of your nutrition you start looking at food differently. It's not "cheating" when you have a treat and it's not about punishing your body by overtraining and bingeing, both things I struggled with for YEARSSSSSSS.

This program has taught me to become more self-aware of what I put in my body and tbh, it's helped me not be so lazy!

Seriously, it's so easy to say “screw it, we’re getting fast food" (and yes, sometimes it's needed) but when that becomes more of a "regular" than taking time to eat "real food," then there's an issue.

The MORE we eat foods that cause more damage than good, the more we are programming ourselves to reach for those things....then we wonder WHY we feel so bad all the time.

Our bodies are TRYING to tell us to stop by giving us signs like....

  • Skin rashes

  • bloating

  • poor sleep

  • low energy

  • feeling anxious

  • painful menstrual cycles

    the list goes on...

I had to OWN what my struggles were and I had to be WILLING to go the "tough route" you know, not look for the quick fixes, that doesn't address the issues, but a REAL fix to EMPOWER myself to say I CAN DO THIS.

And so can you. And yes, this is a good place to start.
