Why are we struggling with depression and obesity and health care is making a killing ....all while killing us from meds that "help" us!?!!?!?

Mindset y'all. MIND.FRICKIN.SET. Our body won't move to get healthier and we won't shop in the fresh food aisle if our brain tells us thise lies. So stop with the lies. There is success for ALL OF US and it happens everyday to those that KNOW where they will be in 10 years. 

Answer this question for yourself.... if what you did today - you did everyday for the next 10 years..... where will you be? Healthy? Or Broken?πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”
That choice is yours everyday. No one to blame for your success or your failures. Just you.

So thank you, Daniel....a kid from Carmel Indiana who knocked on our door till we opened it tonight. Who asked if we believed in God and gave us a high five when we said we did. He recommended some books...I went with this with cookbook...that will most likely be gifted to my sister since I really don't follow rules well. πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

Before Daniel left he asked if he could pray for us. We said of course. Bless that kid for getting the courage to go out on his own, and facing fears of rejection because I'm sure that happens to him on the daily.

My skeptical judgy side kept trying to say....no, don't answer the door....no, don't hear what he has to say. And HECK no, don't pay him for something you probably aren't going to use....but instead I was also thinking.... "Aren't we ALL here to help one another!?!? To love one another!?!!? I've been depressed and scared. I didn't get my license untill I was 18 only because my Grams took me. (Btw. Thanks Grams 😍) 
I didn't succeed in College and dropped out before I flunked out.
I was a nail biter for over 25 years and was so ashamed of my bleeding cuticles. πŸ˜«πŸ˜₯ 
I have a fear of divorce ever since my family fell apart at age 16.
I've had fear and anxiety and panic attacks and felt lost. Those are just a few "hopeless" times in my life but what I learned from those times....

"I didn't die.....and I'm ok. And people aren't perfect. So Sarah, stop trying to judge yourself and others for not being perfect!!!!"

I also learned that if I wanted a HopeFUL and purpose driven life then I needed to not only get back up, but I needed to over come FEAR and CHOOSE a better life. EVERYDAY. My past doesn't determine my future. EVER. My NOW determines my tomorrow. HOW FREEING IS THAT!?!? I will probably fail at quite a few things down the road but I KNOW that's just a part of my journey. In order to become stronger I must LEARN from my mistakes. I see myself and I love myself and every day I will decide to never let fear stop me again.

So to my friend who is fearful. I see you. I know you. And I love you. You are and always will be enough. Stop judging yourself. You are beautifully and wonderfully made and I'm proud of who you are and I love you just the way you are. πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•

Getting back on track with nutrition though! This week I'm planning it all out....(and yes. My schedule is a little different than most...I've always worked out better on a almost empty stomach. Why Not Me?

I remember thinking 4 years ago what my ideal schedule would look like. It included 15-20 classes a week to be able to make just enough money to live in our 1 bedroom apartment and to be able to travel back home and visit family 1x a year....But I wasnt fulfilled and I had put a ceiling to my success. I started to think.... "why make "just enough"!?!?"

I saw online entrepreneurs who were crushing it (don't get me wrong, some were so annoying and spammy and that's why I didn't sign up right away)πŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆ But somewhere deep down I thought .."HOW were the SUCCESSFUL (and not spammy) ones doing it!?!? and WHY NOT ME!?!?!"

I had hit a wall of overtraining and working wayyyyy too hard for "JUST ENOUGH". So I did it. I jumped in with both feet, joined a Virtual Fit Club as an "Intern Coach" and decided that if this was going to work I had to SHOW UP for it. I was teaching 15+ classes with 6 different formats so time was limited but I had a good enough reason for this. And that reason was ME. That reason was bringing home Eddie from work. That reason was freedom to CHOOSE to teach fitness classes and personal train......not "HAVING TOO" just to "make enough". That reason also included mentoring others who are just like me. Who are reaching burn out. Who need the help and guidance just like I did.

This business has forever changed my life. My family's life. And the lives of the many clients and fellow Coaches I've helped to become successful. I love what I do and I will be doing this forever. Happy & Healthy

I was going to say...."oh look, enough for lunch tomorrow." But nahhhhhh. I ate this whole plate.πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I'm gonna give it to ya real folks. Yes I eat pizza, burgers pasta...all the things those popular "diets" don't allow. I'm not about that. Thank you very much. But what I do instead has worked for me. I practice intermittent fasting(I've been doing it for 30 years, and plz don't think I jumped on the keto/Atkins bandwagon mmmmmmkaaayyyy?!πŸ€£πŸ˜‰) I just kept to something that works for me and hey if it helps you too then great. Here's what I do....

  • # 1 I don't eat breakfast. Instead its 2 cups of coffee with half and half
  • #2 around 2 I drink my superfoods smoothie that freaking changed my life..I've not had fruit loops since. No joke. I drink it almost ERRDAY and add my fruit and PB to it. (That's my big meal #1)
  • #3 I eat dinner around 8(that's my other big meal #2) its hello fresh or a big salad with enough protein to keep me full (or its pizza and salad πŸ˜‰βœŒ
  • #4 if I want a treat its usually my pb& choc bar around 11pm. 


That's it. No counting cals or cutting out whole food groups. This is just me trying to listen to my body and on the days I don't eat as well I feel like crap for a few days. So instead of 4 slices of pizza, it's a big salad and 2 slices of pizza. And if I want a burger AND the fries I skip the bread.
