Speak Up

Welcome to the conversation grads.

I definitely had "talks too much" on my report card too.

While yes, you are given 2 ears to listen and one mouth, I still believe women need to speak up MORE.

Speak up for what you believe in.

Speak up for your dreams but always remember no one will believe in them more than YOU.

Find others doing what you want to do. Speak to THEM and then listen.

Speak up for those who don't have as loud of a voice as you. They need YOU to be an inspiration.

Speak up, even though your voice is shaky, and you are scared of what others will think of you.

It's never easy in the beginning, but if you KEEP growing outside your comfort zone you WILL create a beautiful life that you once remembered you spoke about.

I Cried Hard

YESTERDAY I CRIED HARD... SO I SEARCHED OUT ADVICE FROM A FRIEND....

YES. I was so freaking emotional yesterday and ya know what? I have been living in scarcity TOO LONG and I realize that's only a sign that I now have, not only the inspiration for something BETTER, but also I have the INSPIRATION for something better.

That's the perfect storm when it comes to REAL LIFE changes.

So, here it is.... I did something at 7am THIS MORNING, and while I'm nervous about it, I realize I'm SO MUCH MORE EXCITED ABOUT THIS!

I have been researching ways to not only grow my own wellness business, but be able to provide MORE for others with products that ACTUALLY work.

BECAUSE I GET IT. Not everyone wants the workouts that me or BODI offers...or the supplements I USE. So what else is there, bc I KNOW people want real results from GOOD QUALITY products that ARE affordable(Same).

So I sought out TOP Coaches in my industry and found out from them PERSONALLY & found what I was looking for!!!

A Community of Love

Eddie & I were just talking about this....and YES, I've been seeing a LOT of hate recently & I want you to understand something...

There will ALWAYS be people creating communities out of divide..as in they have a REASON to hate a group of people or believe they NEED to place blame on....

BUT there's ALSO a group of people that creates community out of LOVE That also believes you can LOVE GOD, & ALSO LOVES ALL ETHINICITYS, RELIGIONS, SEXUAL ORINTATIONS....ALLLLL PEOPLE.

We AREN'T the loud ones deciding what is GOOD or EVIL in this world.

We just don't have the room in our hearts to JUDGE PEOPLE. WE are all ONE RACE. the HUMAN Race.

So if that's you too, just know you aren't alone. Continue to show up & show love & don't be quick to anger. Because in a world where we can believe that GOD LOVES US ALL, then we should practice and believe that belief and faith to act in love is in US too.

Thanks for coming to my TED TALK. Now be a kinder human.

Loving the Spider-Verse!

Well, I didn't blink for 2 hours...bc that's how good the new Spider-Man move was....also slight spoiler....
THERE'S A TO BE CONT.....WHAT?!?!?! Oh em worrrrrrrrrddddd. Such a cliffhanger. And so freaking good!!!!!! The art, the music, the actors...ahhhhhhh, so Flippin good!!! Horizontal Stripes

Ok, horizontal stripes are literally NO ONES friend, but truly I feel so much better today than I did 10 years ago!

I am also the SAME weight in both pics.

Healthy is not a size or a weight, but instead it's a state of BEING.

Healthy AND happy is and always will be the PRESENT goal because your best today will feel different than it was yesterday and different from tomorrow...and that's ok.

Trust the process. You are worthy.

On This Day...

Eddie always reminds me what happened on this day in 2007, he asked me to go to Barnes & Nobles after my shift ended at the coffee shop. Our story is kinda crazy and it all started when ...4 days prior I broke up with my boyfriend of 6 years.

Yes, it was a tough one, but we were both such different people wanting to change eachother too much.

At that time I was working at my sisters coffee shop and my step dad asked Eddie (the customer at the cafe) if he ever thought about asking me out. (My step dad's, step son from a previous marriage was really good friends with Eddie growing up...yes small world, so they knew each other....and if you know Eddie, then ya know how much of a great guy he is, even as a kid I assume my step dad knew that.)

Anyhoo, he took his advice and asked me to go this book store...so in true 23 year old fashion, I thought.."who reads books?!" Instead I invited him to Buffalo Wild wings bc that's where the fellow barista & I were going to afterward.

It was THAT NIGHT I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with this guy.

And 3 weeks later he moved to Pennsylvania, so our relationship was long distance.

On July 21st he asked me to marry him.

On October 26th(yup same year) we were married.

I don't share this story to ONLY show the highlight reel, I share this story bc people like us needed to hear stories like this existed.

It was the hope that "that feeling" existed.

And also that "full of love feeling" can and does exist today because we DECIDED to make it last.

Love is an action, through words, kind acts, touch, quality time & gifts.

I love my life with this guy. And I always will.

Be present to love. Be present to sharing experiences together. Be present to allowing eachother to dream big. Be present to being grateful for the little things.

The secret to love is to be present to it & choosing to talk it out when you are struggling.

Its also choosing to not make assumptions about eachother.

It's deciding to, instead of complain to a friend, that you confide in one another and be open and honest with your own needs too.

Love exists, & I'm so grateful that I went ALL IN with this guy right here.
