How many GREAT IDEAS have we talked ourselves OUT OF because we continue to judge who we are(or are not)?
I doubted this whole ONLINE COACH thing for almost 2 years.
I thought FIRST it was a pyramid scheme, then when I researched it and found out it's not I then thought...what OTHER reasons there were WHY I didn't want to pursue this. And it came down to BEING SUCKY AT IT. Truthfully.
I didn't want to be a beginner.
I didn't want to step outside my comfort zone.
I didn't want other people judging me for joining an online company.
So I stayed mierable.....and judgey of others success.
Until I said ALL those reasons SUCK LESS than the reason I'm staying IN THE SAME FREAKING PLACE!!!!
So I did it...
I became a beginner.
I stepped outside my comfort zone.
I stopped allowing myself to FEEL judged by others and tbh, people are self centered, we are all TOO CONCERNED about what other people care about WAY...TOO... MUCH..
Ya know how FREEING it is to make desicions without feeling judged?!?!?
Am I GLAD I took this chance!??!!

No, it's not easy, but it sucks less each day you confront fears and YES, you do learn and grow and make a POSITIVE impact on everyone around ya! And dude, that feeling is REAL FREEDOM.
I've got a Coach info session THIS Saturday at 10am est. I am going LIVE in a private group. Ya wanna join? I was thinking about how I used to not really PLAN Mondays, they would just happen, and I would be in REACTIVE STRESS mode ....all the time.
I lived for the weekends bc Sunday was the ONLY day I didn't teach classes or go to the gym. Now I hop on Zoom with fellow Coaches, brainstorm & work from a timer and I actually have a structure that I GET TO CREATE. Dare I say, I freaking LOVE Mondays!?!?
I will never take this for granted. I'm still staying with my friend and this job makes it easier to be able to make my schedule work around doc appointment and med pick ups.

The triPPPle threat that changed my ENTIRE life.
Not a misspelling. I meant 3 P's for a reason.
PASSION. PURPOSE. PAYCHECK.
The 3 reasons I became an Online Coach.
I have a PASSION for healthy living. Yup. I'm Passionate because I've known the struggles of overtraining and binge eating & I've always thought there was a better way to treat my body and to show others the same.
Do I feel a sense of PURPOSE from this!? Heck yes, those of you that I've had the pleasure to work with, your transformations(physically, emotionally, financially) give me more fulfillment than I thought could come from any job.
Comes with a PAYCHECK?! You better believe it. I always DREAMED of having a 10k month but really never thought possible from having a "gym job". It's ONLY POSSIBLE because of my consistency OVER TIME that I've been able to achieve this goal.
And no, this success isn't guaranteed, you get out of it what you put into it and you have to be REALLY HONEST with yourself.

Crappy But Grateful
Feeling like crap but also feeling grateful. The second shot is a little tougher than the first (at least for me) so I told our Coaching team I wasn't able to be on calls today....and ya know what happened!?
I wasn't fired. I wasn't yelled at. I was shown love and THAT FEELS AMAZING.
This reminds me of when I worked for a gym (10+ years ago) and I called in FROM THE HOSPITAL saying I could NOT come in because I was in excruciating pain (thanks cysts on my ovaries) ...and ya know what I was told!?!?
"You shouldn't call me, you need to find your OWN subs for your classes....I was so sad that this person said this...and I realized something...this person, this company...does NOT care about my OWN health, but instead they care about ONLY what I offer to them....only when I make THEM money. And I HATED that feeling.
There are MANY reasons why I became an Online Coach but one of the big reasons is I wanted to provide a place for people just like me to know that...
THEY BELONG,
THEY MATTER..
AND THEY ARE APPRECIATED AND LOVED.
So many years ago I couldn't even see what type of job would provide something like that....and now I know.
I'm so grateful for you guys. And so thankful that this company we work with DOES appreciate us...I'm currently using this Theragun they sent me...just for helping people.
The bonuses, the earned trips, the income...I'm all appreciative of, but the MOST I value most?!?? THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE JOINED OUR TRIBE

My Body Positive MOVE-Ment group begins TODAY! I'm SO excited for us guys!!!!!! Today we are sharing goals in our private group and bc yall are also my accountability buddies, I'm sharing here too...so for this next 30 days my goals are....
1..make this program work with MY schedule. My friend Candace and I are doing 2 a days on MWF, since I still teach Virtual classes 2x a week that's still only 5 hours a week of workouts! So doable
2...drink my superfoods shake 6 out of 7 days a week and NOT miss my check ins with the group
3...BIG focus on MINDSET! Sundays my group and I are listening to Shaun's book "T IS FOR TRANSFORMATION " (Btw, book club is open to all, message me if you want to join the zoom)
4... Help all NEW sign ups start AND finish this program WITH ME. We are including an extra week in this...bc life happens!
5...I want everyone to experience our Body Positivity MOVE-MENT and understand that we aren't meant to love who we are when we become better...trust me, if you don't love you NOW, then no amount of workouts, salads or surgeries can change that. We will take back control of negative thoughts by forgiving our past, not worrying about tomorrow and CHOOSING to live in joy RIGHT NOW.
We will take this experience ONE DAY AT A TIME. Somedays will be amazing, while others will be hard and we will need to check out...that's OHHH KAYYYY. This is a lifestyle and we are here to uplift eachother from here on out.

The WHAT is the real WHY.
I've heard you say it....."I found a CHEAPER shake"......so I will just use that. UMMMMM....did I just hear you say CHEAPER!?...we are talking about what goes INTO your body, right?!?! And by CHEAPER that means you are NOT getting the same ingredients and benefits. Listen, I love a good deal, but let's just talk nutrition real quick....because would you put milk in your car tank when it takes gas to run!?!? .....I mean really, would you!?! Probably not.
Look, I GET IT....7 years ago I went from fruit loops most nights to this shake and tbh at first I didn't like it. My taste buds wanted sugar and so when I drank this I DID NOT like it...then I added fruit, peanut butter and blended it. Then I liked it....and I gave it a chance because WHAT was in it really did matter....bc I MATTERED.
I'm not saying this is a cure all but 7 years later my body feels HEALED from all the crap I've eaten. And just because I think it's important to know WHAT goes in your body here's just ONE ingredient and it's benefit. Because real health starts with your mouth yo

Anyway, I wanted to give a #throwbackthursday post & share some takeaways I learned (and am still learning) today....
#1 Just start. Waiting for the perfect time for ANYTHING is ONLY a waste of time. The quicker you go, the quicker you get better!
#2 Stop the comparison game. RIGHT NOW. You only have to be the best YOU...and that is ALWAYS ENOUGH. I CAN tell ya right now there's someone wishing they had YOUR life. When you come from gratitude you accept and love who you are NOW...& not just love who you are when you achieve goals... then you know fulfillment and true happiness.
#3 It's OK to say NO. Fitness instructors, I soooo feel ya on this.
Sure it feels good to be needed. It feels good to do good for others....but at what expense? Your own health? Time with family? Maybe not a good enough paycheck to even break even from all the hard work you do?!?!??!
Reading that one kinda hurt....Am I right?!? I still remember making the decision to cut back on classes because of my own health. And it hurt. I still remember deciding to close my studio. And it hurt. Because I thought I was letting others down.
BUT...the other side is YOU at peace with the decisions you have made.....because deep down you KNEW it was the right thing to do FOR YOU. And you know the RIGHT people that DO LOVE YOU will support you in that. We aren't here to please the haters. They gonna dis you no matter what you do. Let it go babe....πLETπITπGO
Also, saying NO opens up SO MANY MORE YESSES That can still bring you joy and helps you put YOUR health (mental, physical, emotional & financial).... back in control.
I'm still learning and I'm still growing and it's been so amazing to see this journey NOW shared among other fitness professionals.
WE are taking back control.
WE are learning to give our BEST and also honoring the REST that we need.
