More Water Needed

Apparently I need to drink MORE water!
I had about 25 oz. before my workout
25 oz. during my workout and 20 more oz. after.
Then showered, headed to the pee test place(because I'm gonna start teaching locally in April πŸ˜ #yayyyyy) buuuuut I did NOT have enough to fill the freakin cup!!!!!!!(sorry, tmi) I had to down about 40 MORE oz and wait 30 min. Even with drinking 110 oz today & I know I'm still probably going to drink a little more throughout the day. Anyhooooooo, all y'all, be sure you are drinking ENOUGH Water! 

I've talked to many of you who are joining my Mind & Body MAKEOVER challenge & I really encourage EACH of you to track your water going forward πŸ’§(fill out that log book!) & Noooo, sorry your tea, juices, coffees, soda don't count towards it! πŸ’ͺπŸ˜‰ 

πŸ‘ŒπŸΌAnd if you say you don't like the taste of water, squeeze some fresh lime or lemon or another fruit into it. Its water yall....learn to love it.

πŸ‘ŒπŸΌAnd if you tell me you have unhealthy skin, I'm gonna tell you to drink more water

πŸ‘ŒπŸΌAnd if you are telling me you are drinking pop (regular or diet) then I'm gonna tell you, give it up & drink more water!

Aim for at the very least 1/2 your body weight in ounces....more on days you sweat, and if you sweat like me, well then drink more also πŸ˜‰πŸ€£

If someone told me 5 years ago that Eddie and I would both be getting paid to work from home doing what we both love I would have said YEEAAA RIGHT.... Now here we are- chilling at home, I'm catching up on messages while drinking my superfoods lunch & listening to Eddie Jokes while he games. Almost spit it up from him saying that he's "gotta hide from the fuzz" πŸ€£ then..."can I pet all the dogs!?!?" And proceeds to chase puppies around the park on the game Watchdogs 2. πŸ€£

A BOWL OF SUGAR DOES NOT HELP THE LADY PARTS πŸ€£πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸ™‰πŸ«πŸ©πŸ§πŸ¨πŸ¦πŸŽ‚πŸ°Let me explain why....
As a kid I LOVED gum but hated that it would lose its sweetness so fast. SOOOOO, being the "problem solver" that I am, I would fill a bowl with sugar, and dip my gum into it when it would lose "flavor"....yea sounds gross, but it was amazing. I mean its sugar. It's addictive...

I loved it so much and would have it every chance I got, but then, when I struggled with my appearance and weight as I got older, I would starve myself to lose a few lbs and then the binging would start all over again. πŸ˜£ a few years later I started working in the fitness field thinking I could out exercise a bad diet. Multiple bowls of cereal was my nightly routine after all the workouts. I felt tired and sluggish and even ended up in the hospital from having ovarian cysts. (Turns out a bad diet wreaks havoc on your lady parts πŸ™‰ ) 

Anyway. I was sick & tired & decided to face this struggle head on. 5 years ago I became a Coach, thinking ...."oh crap, did I just join a pyramid scheme and I'm gonna regret this!?!?!" Then a pack of containers came in the mail, basically showing me that ...

πŸ’πŸ½β€β™€οΈ#1 I was addicted to sugar 
πŸ’πŸ½β€β™€οΈ#2 I did NOT eat enough veggies!!! 
πŸ’πŸ½β€β™€οΈ#3 there's hope for change because this is about LEARNING how to heal the body. Nutritionally, Physically & emotionally. Taking a real look into WHY we eat what we eat is the truth behind it all

It's been a learning experience for sure and going through this Portion Fix Master Coach Certification is really helping me to understand that YES, This HAS helped me understand what and WHY emotional eating & sugar addiction doesn't have to control us ANYMORE!!! I want to pay it forward because if this (past self) non veggie eating, sugar addicted, vagina hating body can turn her life around, then SO CAN YOU!!!! And we don't have to do it alone. Knowledge is power and we DO have a choice when it comes to our health.

While some think $3.88 is "too expensive" for a meal, I have to ask....when was the last time you dropped 10x that on shoes, or a shirt or leggings!?! Or a hand bag!?!?!? Or 30x that on your hair or make up!?!?! #knowwhatimsayin

Because there's a reason after 5 years I'm still here and still drinking this & FULLY believe in what THIS smoothie is and WHAT'S in it. It seems to be that's my AVERAGE number of calories per day. So when I hear people say, the only way to become "healthier" is to starve or workout more I have to disagree....but hear me out. I thought the same!!!🀚 I want to be super real with ya....Because you YES, YOU CAN workout LESS & eat MORE.... This is what I've found to work for me, and yes, it could work for you. But please keep in mind that these variables could play a BIG part in your health journey....

πŸ’πŸ½β€β™€οΈAre you NOT getting enough sleep per night? 
πŸ’πŸ½β€β™€οΈAre you stressed and bottle up emotions and rarely ask for help?
πŸ’πŸ½β€β™€οΈAre you Overtraining?
πŸ’πŸ½β€β™€οΈAre you following a FAD diet or weightloss gimmick right now?
πŸ’πŸ½β€β™€οΈAre you ONLY counting calories? (Because a calorie is NOT JUST A CALORIE, it's nutrient dense...or its not.)

If you answered YES...to any then you are doing more harm than good to your health. 

Once I started taking a look at those variables & swapping out processed foods for superfoods and training the RIGHT way I started to really feel my body heal from the inside out.

Don't get me wrong, I am NOT eating perfect. And that's not the goal here. Balance is. So I try to stick to 80% healthy 20% bagel πŸ€£πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ......
In fact this is what my will day will be....
(Water goal for the day...85-100oz) 
10am coffee with 1/2 & 1/2 (100 cals)
11am banana (100 cals)
1230pm pre-workout (15 cals)
(((1pm workout)))
230pm bagel and cream cheese (350)
& coffee with 1/2 & 1/2 (100 cals)
5pm veggies and hummus (200)
7pm hello fresh dinner (around 800)
10pm superfoods smoothie with 1/2 cup frozen berries (210) 
11ish popcorn & 8oz Kombucha. (200)
