11th Anniversary
I was a barista.β He was a sweet customer who asked me to hang out at Barnes and Noble after my shift...I told him.." I dont read, but lets go to B-Dubs( Buffalo Wild Wings) instead" ππ€·ββοΈ Annnnnd...The rest is history. Better Late Than Never
Better late than never, rigghhhhttttt guys?!?!πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈI've lately felt like there's a window of "motivation"I get somewhere between 11am and 3pm....then if I miss it then it's a STRUUUGGGLLLEEEEE to get my workout in!!!! I know, you think I LOOOVVVEEE to get my sweat on......but in all honesty... I'd rather sit and Netflix or work on my biz!!!

Disappointment
Hey guys! Lets talk about disappointment!!! Super fun word...I know ππ€¦ββοΈπ€·ββοΈ But as you know I'm diving into personal development and today's topic really stood out to me. Probably because I am CONTINUALLY harsh on myself and have disappointed myself over the years. Seriously....I hear my mind go to places like.....
"Why aren't I a good leader?"
"Why am I not where I want to be in my business?"
"Why did this person block me on social media? Is it something I said?"
....and the list goes on....
Writing all this out makes me realize how ridic all that sounds...but seriously y'all. We ALL struggle with dissatisfaction and disappointment. But one thing is FOR SURE IN LIFE.πππππ
Disappointment is inevitable!!! It's because life is NOT perfect. I'm sure you know this by now π But there are really only 2 ways to look at disappointment...
πA failure that can lead to NEGATIVE behaviors that include blame, anger and resentment......
OR
a Learning opportunity where POSITIVE action will be taken including taking responsibility, acting with love and patience towards yourself and others and coming up with a new strategy to eventually have a better result.
So the next time you are disappointed take a few deep breaths and ask yourself..."how would my BEST self react to this?" And map out the BEST scenario. And if it CANNOT be "fixed" then move on. There are SO MANY other things in life we have control over. Do NOT be tied up with things we CANNOT change. Especially matters of what OTHER people do. Settlers
I truly feel we ALL can have a happy & fulfilling life. But I'm not saying everyone deserves it. Here's why I think this....
We get to a certain point in our life...usually late teens and early 20's and our parents stop "parenting " us and then we are left on our own to find out what our calling is and learn everyday how to do it well. But I feel as if most people think they are done "learning" & growing after they finish school. They stop reading. They stop investing in education they stop at the level they think they deserve...or maybe they THINK they deserve more but don't take any effort towards it.
So they stop....and they settle.
ππΎββοΈThey settle in a job where they aren't fulfilled...but hey it pays the bills, right? ππ½ββοΈThey settle in a relationship that is toxic but hey....they aren't alone, right?
πββοΈThey settle in their unhealthy habits.... but hey they haven't had any "Real health issues'....yet.
Ya get what I'm saying? So ask yourself ......"AM I SETTLING?
And if I DO DESERVE a better life, am I 100% showing up to have it!?!!?"
Listen, I'm not saying quit your job, leave your relationship, fire your personal trainer...but in those areas of your life are you showing up and GIVING EVERYTHING YOU GOT!?!?! If not then you know what you need to do. And after you do give it your all and you still aren't where you need to be then learn, and grow and do what you MUST DO.
A fulfilled life is ALWAYS worth it but you must know it will be full of road blocks. Full of doubters. Full of people who judge you. (Get over that one because those people are everywhere unfortunately). Everyday you will be fighting fears and learning from your mistakes. But you MUST be willing to forgive yourself. Perfection is not the goal. Take time to learn from the those doing it better and never take advice from people who aren't successful. If you have something pulling on your heart then listen to it. Go do the thing you must do. RIGHT. NOW. Otherwise this will be a post lost to the hopeless...but I want Hope in YOUR heart and a FIRE for BETTER life....because if you are STILL reading this then I know you deserve better. And I know you know it too. ππ§‘π

Never forget you already have everything it takes to be happy, loved, successful, empowered and courageous. You won't find it around you though....it is and always has been WITHIN you. π§‘π§‘π§‘
Do I?
"Do I want to do this?...enough?"
"Am I worth it? I don't know if I have enough confidence in myself to do this..."
"What if I fail?" I don't want to let you down."
I hear those questions lingering in the minds of people who KNOW that being healthy is important....but those questions stop them. I know because it stopped me. I remember thinking 6 years ago..."I can't get a great workout at home!"..."ohhhh, no thanks this won't work for me...its one of those "online" things...."What if I donβt do well? Am I going to let people down?" "What if they judge me?"
This mindset will continue your journey down a path of more doubts, more negativity and regret. I realized I did not want that for my life ANYMORE and everything changed when my WANT for change was greater than my WANT to stay the same.
Fast forward a few years and now MOST of my workouts come from a program that I follow from START TO FINISH. I'm also doing this ONLINE thing making a full time income. I'm so glad I stopped listening to my doubts and I trusted that I COULD be successful at this. I'm healthier, happier and I found a tribe of people that keep me motivated to KEEP GOING. Huge Thanks to my fellow Coaches and fellow Virtual Fit-Clubbers!!! Ya'll changed my life πππππ

People need people to relate to the hard and to celebrate in the smallest and biggest successes. We ALL matter. Wanting more for your life is not selfish. It's a need that must be filled. Reason to Be Happy
Just got back from a (mini) Coach Conference and it was one that left me in tears. We all had to think of a negative memory and think on those feelings of sadness, regret, anger...and well ...YEAAAHHH...that part sucked....
But then we took 3 minutes to think about 3 memories that made us sooooo grateful and in just a few minutes my mindset changed and I left so uplifted and grateful for my life. Our mindsets truly can change in the course of a few minutes so the next time you feel heart ache feel it and let yourself grieve...but if your heart aches for something from the past then it's time to let it go. Be grateful for what is NOW and also be grateful for that circumstance to shape and mold into who you are today. We all have stories of our childhood and past that we wish didn't happen but what if it happened FOR us so we could be the heroes today and ALSO help those like us? We might ask WHY ME? But what if instead we asked "HOW can I Overcome and HOW can I help others because of this?
For example...I tend to look at the lack of connection I had growing up with people closest to me and how it's shaped me to be create my own fun and I also make sure everyone is felt loved and connected(whether they like it or not ππ) . And for that I'm SO SO thankful. I also look at marriage differently and because of my upbringing I make sure Eddie is loved by my words AND my actions.
Everyone has a reason to be unhappy, but what are your reasons to be HAPPY? Why are you grateful for your life? And how can you show that gratefulness to everyone around you? Isn't it time to let go and forgive those that hurt you? Including forgiving and loving yourself? It might help to start a daily grateful list. I'm starting another gratitude journal this fall to help me stay accountable! If you think it will help ya too then I encourage you to do it too!!!! Hmmmmm, maybe a grateful group for my next free group?!?π€π€π€π€π€ Whatcha think?
New Program

I'm diving into a new Program Monday and I always love the excitement that comes with a new challenge....yea, this is my lifestyle but it's still gets me excited to START strong and FINISH strong. I want to continue to Iead by example because if this college drop out, recovering emotional eater & scale abuser CAN over come the hard....then SO CAN YOU!!!!! We are more than a size...we are people who NEED love and acceptance and we won't accept it from ANYONE until we accept it from OUR SELF FIRST. So every day, wherever you are at.... βTIME... to schedule your workouts and NOT give in to the snooze...because you stayed up late netflixing. Again.
βINVESTMENT...Are you willing to invest in your health or are you going to keep going it alone?
βRELATIONSHIPS....You have toxic people in your life. They are sabotaging your efforts and maybe even making you emotionally unwell so you turn to food for comfort. Time to distance yourself.
βFALSE BELIEFS.....You have blamed circumstances, people, genetics....even the weather for your lack of motivation. Aren't you willing to give up what you can't control for what you CAN CONTROL....YET?
Seems a bit harsh but honestly your health is THAT important, not only for you but also for your loved ones. It's time to write out your goals and share them with some POSITIVE people that will have your back. I'm not saying its gotta be me....heck you might not even like me π€£ & that's π But I'm telling you anyway π DON'T WAIT TILL ITS TOO LATE. We either live a life of FEAR, a life of REGRET or a life of HAPPINESS. Either way....you get to decide YOUR FUTURE. Make it a happy one friend.πππ
