Settlers

I truly feel we ALL can have a happy & fulfilling life. But I'm not saying everyone deserves it. Here's why I think this....

We get to a certain point in our life...usually late teens and early 20's and our parents stop "parenting " us and then we are left on our own to find out what our calling is and learn everyday how to do it well. But I feel as if most people think they are done "learning" & growing after they finish school. They stop reading. They stop investing in education they stop at the level they think they deserve...or maybe they THINK they deserve more but don't take any effort towards it.

So they stop....and they settle.
💁🏾‍♀️They settle in a job where they aren't fulfilled...but hey it pays the bills, right? 💁🏽‍♂️They settle in a relationship that is toxic but hey....they aren't alone, right?
💁‍♀️They settle in their unhealthy habits.... but hey they haven't had any "Real health issues'....yet.

Ya get what I'm saying? So ask yourself ......"AM I SETTLING?
And if I DO DESERVE a better life, am I 100% showing up to have it!?!!?"

Listen, I'm not saying quit your job, leave your relationship, fire your personal trainer...but in those areas of your life are you showing up and GIVING EVERYTHING YOU GOT!?!?! If not then you know what you need to do. And after you do give it your all and you still aren't where you need to be then learn, and grow and do what you MUST DO. 

A fulfilled life is ALWAYS worth it but you must know it will be full of road blocks. Full of doubters. Full of people who judge you. (Get over that one because those people are everywhere unfortunately). Everyday you will be fighting fears and learning from your mistakes. But you MUST be willing to forgive yourself. Perfection is not the goal. Take time to learn from the those doing it better and never take advice from people who aren't successful. If you have something pulling on your heart then listen to it. Go do the thing you must do. RIGHT. NOW. Otherwise this will be a post lost to the hopeless...but I want Hope in YOUR heart and a FIRE for BETTER life....because if you are STILL reading this then I know you deserve better. And I know you know it too. 💟🧡💟
