Spring Cleaning!

I shared this in our in Spring clean detox & declitter group....and Oh-Kurrrrr, my friend Jessica was right about trying the tub and tile on pans. The smaller one was actually WORSE than the bigger one. & I'm not even done cleaning it yet, just wanted to share the results so far!!!!!!

Who knew I would love cleaning so much with non toxic cleaners. No gloves needed I can't believe I used to spand way more on toxic crap!!!

Humble Pie

Something I've been struggling with recently that I want to share with you, and if you are a fellow fitness instructor or entrepreneur, I think this might resonate with you.

The thought that kept coming up....
"....I was assuming I would be supported when I showed up and supported others."

& when that didn't happen by the ones I EXPECTED to be there, my ego would show up saying.....

"You are NOT good ENOUGH for this..or them."

Ouch.

Today, in our personal development group, we learned about HUMILITY.

And also learning to take pleasure in whatever humbles us.

Oh crap. Here we go humble pie.

So that made me realize, especially in teaching to a class of 3-5 people at the gym & online in 2024, whereas in 2014 I taught to 30-50 ppl per class.

So what has my ego tried to tell me? That I am 10x LESS the person I was then?! Even though I have taught MORE and become a BETTER instructor?

What about business? When we pour everything into giving to others, only to feel crickets on the other side of a message.

So how would this relate to me being HUMBLE? Well, as trusty, Google would have it... Here is "How to be humble: Tips for practicing humility in daily life."

1. Recognize your strengths and weaknesses.
2. Listen to others.
3. Practice Gratitude.
4. Admit mistakes.
5. Show empathy.
6. Be teachable.
7. Serve others.
8. Practice self-reflection.

Okurrrrrr, Google, God, and ppl that know more than me. I'm listening. I'm shutting my ego up and showing up REGARDLESS & I'm also ALLOWING myself to practice that gratitude and finding Joy in what I GET to do.

When I allow myself to FEEL that gratitude,I am overwhelmed with thankfulness for this life.

I'm gonna thank my ego for showing me what I'd like to improve in, but I'm not going to discredit my work.

I'm not going to take for granted the people I DO have in my life.

I'm also going to eat that humble pie and show up to serve others. Always. Joy will come when we stop the numbers or comparison game. We are worthy to show up. Drop a if you needed this too. Or don't. I'm not counting the numbers anymore.

Good Grief

Hi friend. It's been a weekend....and this morning I got back into routine. I had shared about how a close friend had died, and this morning on my FB LIVE in my mindset group, I really broke down.

I know greif is hard, but what I realized from sharing this morning is that grief isn't meant to be shared by ONE.

It's meant to be shared by ALL. I think on some level we are ALL empaths and when one person is hurting and alone, then there isn't anyone to help take on that pain, and that's when the weight is too hard to carry. But when that pain is shared, it lightens the load, and it's a gift that we can accept from others when they also feel the pain we are in.

All this to say, let others know of your pain. It's not meant to be taken on by ONE.

Lean into community

(or as I like to call it - "Communicate Unity") ....

because the bravest thing you can do is NOT to hide, but to come out and say, "I am hurting."

I know you have most likely experienced this pain and probably even more than once. Just know you are NOT alone in grief.

Maybe the phrase 'good grief' isn't just a sarcastic saying, but maybe it actually means grieving IS good.

It shows how grateful you are for your person.

I'm here if you need a person to share in your grief, too.

XOXO

Your sweaty bestie,

Sarah

Selfies For Later

Selfies for later, so we can go like and comment on eachothers posts. I freaking LOVE the support and sisterhood I've found from being able to work with babes through social media.

I know social gets a lot of negative attention but when you can use it for REAL connection it can be such a beautiful space.

I, for one l, am so grateful for all of my online friends I've found through these platforms. I'm so glad we continue to reach out and ask...do you want to work on our dreams together?! Cool? Cool.

Don't doubt what you are capable of friends! Entrepreneurship is NOT an ALONE job. When you partner with the RIGHT people you realize you are EXACTLY where you need to be.

Bring It On, Life

Besides the fact that I look like a TROLL doll... I love this pic. Ima say it....I'm 40 and I FEEL amazing.

Appreciation APPRECIATES, so I'm gonna love EVERYTHING in my life right now, EVEN the struggles.

We too often take it for granted and don't live in the moment. We are often too busy living in regret or not feeling fulfilled. That's NOT my story.

I will FEEL the FEELS.

I will look for OPPORTUNITY over OBSTACLES.

I will be grateful for what already IS and also grateful for what is TO COME.

I will also practice Gratitude for what WAS bc it has led me EXACTLY where I need to be.

I will take ACTION on what scares me.

Life is beautiful when you give yourself permission to FEEL the joy and SEE the beauty in life.

If I would have seen this post 10 years ago I probably would have made fun of it and resented this person.

I'm only here now writing this because instead of envying those that I really was inspired by, I decided to LEARN from them and take big leaps into what COULD BE.

I'm still learning. Still growing. And now more than EVER excited for what tomorrow will bring.

Bring it on life. I'm ready.
