Fear
Fear. It's what holds us back. In my experience the BIGGEST reason people stop trying to improve themselves is FEAR of being judged from others. But This judgement is most likely only coming from your perception of everyone around you. And the most important perception is the opinion of YOURSELF.

We created scenarios of hate and judgement and built a wall of fear so tall that our fight or flight has kicked in. And instead of facing that fear we decided to run away from it. That leads us right back to where we started. Upset, angry and lost. Again.
....
Now picture that WALL OF FEAR is a mirror. Walk up to it. The mirror reflects yourself 10, 20 and 30 years younger.

What would you tell your YOUNGER self? Would you encourage her? Give her hope and tell her that her future is full of love and happiness? Would you tell her to face her fears and be brave and to know that its OK to fail because there are lessons to be learned so she can be wiser, happier and fully love herself and fully love others?

Now picture your reflection is you 10,20 30 years from now. What does she look like? Happy with laugh lines & surrounded by people she loves? Is she full of adventurous stories? What wisdom would she share with you? Would she give you hope and tell you that your future is love and full of hope? Would she tell you to stop judging yourself? Would she tell you that you are brave and CAN do this? Would she thank you for chasing your dreams and living your best life?

Now picture NOW. Instead go to your mirror NOW. I mean it. Get up. Walk to your bathroom and shut the door. Look at yourself with a smile and Repeat....

In A Funk
Happy Wednesday friends! I am focused on the positivity today and I will spend my energy on finding solutions rather than talking about problems π

Yesterday I was kinda in a funk & I was spending too much time on negative energy whereas I SHOULD be getting back to what I CAN do! If I'm going to spend my energy on anything, why decide to complain about problems rather than taking action helping myself and others in a positive way!?

Sounds simple enough, but seriously I struggle time to time, like we all do. But we can't hide from our problems, we must face them (isn't that from The Sound Of Music!?π€)

I encourage you all to face what's bothering you. YES, I know you have something or someine btinging you down. And Yea, its gonna be hard, but so worth it once you move past it. Find a solution rsther than complain ONE MORE SECOND and if there is NO solution then MOVE ON!!!! Your energy and time will be spent anyway. Might as well use it for the good and learn a new lesson. You got this!!! πππ
Sweaty
Holy SWEAT! How did I get this sweaty with a 30 MINUTE workout!?!? I didn't even finish my pre-workout π oh well ready to crush the rest of the day now...... Is it your leg day workout today too!!?!? If so I challenge YOU to lift a little heavier. You WILL feel and see a difference ππ I KNOW you got it in you!!!!!
Make the Rest the Best
My journey as a Coach & Fitness instructor has taught me so much about pursuing my BEST life. But in order for that to happen I had to be willing to get a little uncomfortable and show up on the days I didn't FEEL like it. Just like anything in life πpursuing your passion takes time, dedication and consistency. But that's definitely NOT the hardest part of my journey......

Once I could teach and Coach MYSELF how to show up then it was on me to lead others to become healthier, happier and driven. I became a mentor to those that wanted this same life. That's where this journey gets hard. π«π―π«

While I see potential in SOOOO MANY PEOPLE there's STILL nothing I can do or say to motivate someone else to live their BEST life.... And that SUCKS. No secret spell I can learn from the Show Supernatural π ha!!! I honestly wish I could be there on their shoulders to help encourage them daily, but I can't. The only thing I can do is hope and pray that they learn to love themselves ENOUGH to pursue their OWN BEST life and show up daily to it.

In a way I feel we are ALL Coaches, Leaders, Parents and Teachers who are mentors to others. And just because someone fails or quits does NOT mean we failed them. The ONLY way to lead is by TRUE EXAMPLE. If we do that, then we have done our job and that's the BEST we can do πππ
Procrastination
I used to be a BIG procrastinator (I am only sometimes now...like dping my workout at 8pm π) but REAL TALK....if I wanted to successful in my health, my business and my relationships then I needed to stop talking a BIG talk and start taking REAL ACTION.

I had to come face to face with my acrtons...or lack there of to recongnize the ONLY thing holding me back..was ME. Not the actions of others, not the economy, not the girl with more likes on her social media ((( I mean really, how petty am I right now!?!?...getting better, promise. I just wanna give ya the TRUTH)))

Can you relate to this at all!?!? Are you wasting time, not bettering yourself because you are living in comparison or playing the "if only " or "but I can't because" never ending song!?!?!?! Well I'm here to say stop the EXCUSES and replace THAT mindless activity with REAL RESULTS producing ACTIONS!!! Because if I can .....ummmm SO CAN YOU. πππ

Actions ALWAYS speak louder than words so don't just TELL me you wish you were happy, successful or fit, Take ACTION. Each day you say" tomorrow" pushes YOUR success away another day. Even if it's not pretty, not perfect, not even your BEST. Just DOOOOOO IIIITTTTT!!!! βπI BELIEVE IN YOU. NOW BELIEVE IN YOU.
Best Self
I hear this all the time...I need to FIND time to pursue my passion. I need to FIND time to get my workout in. I need to FIND balance in my life. Listen, you don't FIND time. Time is already there and it's constantly passing. And so is your life.

What you do now (yes even on a Saturday) matters years from now. If you really want to make this work then you will take action. Focused and purpose filled ACTION each day. Come face to face with your results producing action and also with your not so results producing habits. Do you have 30-60 minutes to focus on making your life better each day!? Truthfully!?!?!?π€π€π€ Yes you do. We both know it.

There will always be re negative part of you saying that ...."no you don't have the time. No you won't be good enough and No don't even dream about this because it won't happen for you."... Well I'm not talking to that part of you or me any longer. Because we both know that part of us does not have the best intention for us and our futures#nottodayoreversatan .....INTEAD I'm talking to the part of us that understands and WANTS to live our BEST life. THAT person takes action and shows up day in and day out. OUR best self achieves greatness and positively influences those around us. Numbers on a Scale
I remember when I used to value my results by a number on the scale and whether or not my thighs rubbed when I walked. Sounds ridic writing this down but it's true. I used to binge and starve myself back in highschool in order to stay at a certain weight.

It lasted a few years and then I threw away my scale and I broke that daily habit of valuing myself by a number on the scale. I was MORE concerned with the "look" of fit rather than actually being fit. If you have struggled with achieving the "look" then I encourage you to do a few things.

#1 throw out your scale
#2 hide your tape measure to only check 1x a month
#3 start writing in a journal and track what your body CAN do and celebrate that! How long can you hold a wall sit!? How about a plank!? What are you lifting? Have you increased your weights? Or what's your 5k time? Did you meet your water goal? What about less sugar? More veggies?

What I'm saying is that Fitness is measured by what your body CAN do. I never want to encourage you to "look" a certain way. I know that life and it sucks. You will never be happy if thats your goal. Surgeries, starvation and hatred for your body is NOT the answer. Instead Love is always the answer. πππ

Btw, I'm happier now and I'm stronger than I've ever been. YES my thighs are thicker than ever πππand I still don't have a scale and I have no idea what I weigh and I don't care.

Seriously mindset is everything when it comes to hitting mental spiritual, health and physical goals. If you want mediocre results in any area then yea ....barely "try" but if you want THE BEST then don't just try. DO IT 100%!!! So you can look back and say....'I did that, and I'm proud of me and I'm going to keep going." π
