Well that was rough. I'm not gonna lie, I seriously waited too long to workout and probably should have had half my chili from earlier today...but I didnt. π΄ I feel stuffed and tired and today I'm feeling it...πππ

Remember there will ALWAYS be rough times ahead but if we make a real effort to look for the good in every situation then it becomes more clear to us that happier times are ahead of us. That happiness comes quicker to those looking for it, not just waiting for a better path or door to open for them.

Is this happy-cool life EASY!? Heck no! I had to retrain my brain and clear the negativity OUT! I had to get really clear on what I wanted for my life & I showed up to a better life because I NEEDED & WANTED it enough. I had to LEARN from others I was inspired by and not be jealous of thier success. I had to ask questions (lots of them) and fail FORWARD learning from my mistakes. I had to look back on my past only to learn from it. Not to dwell on it and think of the IF ONLYS. I had to Repeat to myself "I CAN DO THIS!" & remember this is MY life. It's MY job to figure out why I am here and find MY purpose for ME. Nobody else can do that for me. But through the struggles I found my strength. I'm happy, I'm grateful and I am so fortunate to now be able to help others the same way I was helped. π€ππ€Find your passion and go after it WHOLEHEARTEDLY friends. Ok, check this out. The lady behind us using the pull up bars(shes 66 btw) told us told us she had not worked out in a while but here she is cranking out knee lifts like a BOSS.π

Seriously though she probably DOES stay active. Later we talked with her and she told us we are an inspo to her but really SHE is the REAL GOALS here. πͺππͺππͺπ I mean COME ONNNNNNNN.....just check her out!!!! She doesn't use her age as an excuse for lack of motivation. She showed up to a gym, to workout alone, while on vacay. Seriously, she is my goals!!!!!!!

A few years ago I was headed down that first career path. But I finally decided to change my of thinking. But I ALMOST said NO to my dreams....Ya see, I used to think "online jobs" were nothing but pyramid schemes, sales and annoying people. π€ Hmmmm yea, I was 100% wrong. Almost 4 years later I'm hosting a retreat for some Coaches on our team and I could have never been able to do this is it wasn't for online Coaching. I've meet my closest friends through this business and I've helped hundreds of people reach goals with REAL NUTRITION and INCREDIBLE WORKOUTS. πͺπ I love my job and always will. I can't imagine my life any other way and I'm so grateful I stopped letting my doubts and misconceptions get in the way.

No One Is That Happy
Someone said to me recently they love following me because I always seem happy. And yes, I would say I'm a pretty happy person. Honestly though, when I think about how I appear to others I'm always afraid that they might think...."shes fake...no-ones THAT happy!" π

Seriously though, I do try to show my highs and lows as often as I can. Life is not perfect all the time (it's not meant to be) but I truly believe we ALL can become happier, more grateful people when we just remember to do the simple things. Like ...be nice. ππ...

#1 stop treating the people you "love" Like crap. What you say behind thier back defines who YOU ARE. Not them.
#2 If you play the blame or excuse game ALL your life you will always be a victim to your OWN negativity. So stahhhp. You ain't going anywhere until you own your own failure. Learn from it, get better and never stop.
#3 ALWAYS show respect for others. Do you take time to get to know everyones name or show courtesy and thankfulness to EVERYONE!?!?! - whether they are a CEO, janitor, teacher, police officer, chef, waitress....etc.!!?!?
#4 Stop WISHING. Start DOING. be true to your word if you say you are going to do something....then DO IT! You are grown. You don't need to be spoon fed anymore.
#5 Be thankful. There is someone less fortunate wishing they had your life. Do your part in this world and leave it better than when YOU entered it.

I answer yes to each one when it comes to Eddie and I. We help build each others dreams and support each others passions and goals. This relationship isn't 50-50...its 100-100. I'm not saying we are perfect or we never get upset with each other time to time but what I am saying is that it's SOOOOO important to ALWAYS communicate and ALWAYS take the time to be a true SUPPORTER and true FAN of your people. If they don't know you support them then you most likely feel unsupported as well. I recommend taking extra time to show that love to your peeps. Your life will be so much more fulfilled and you they will mirror how you want to be treated also. It's never too late to change our thinking and actions. πππ
I Was Fake
Reality πI was FAKE & here's why...

I also have rolls when I sit. Shocker. But the "NOW" ME, don't give a care πππ....But I wasn't always happy with myself and If I was to go back and start my fitness career over I WISH I would have started with getting my eating at home, and my mindset towards loving myself RIGHT!!! ππ₯πππ₯πππ Hear me out....because 10 years ago I did the personal trainer gym thing but I wish I would had listened to my body and not over trained so hard. I wish I would have not relied so much on a scale that I starved myself till I was at a certain bmi. That's not healthy and I knew that.
I was teaching up to 20 classes a week....and eating freakin' fruit loops almost every day bc I worked out "enough" so to me I could eat anything...why not, RIGHT!?!?...UMMM. WRONG. ππππ

What changed for me was truly loving myself enough to TAKE CARE OF ME. And I NEEDED to LEARN how to do it. I had been "faking" my health for too long. ....
So I joined a 21 day Virtual Fit Club in 2014 and it's changed my life FOREVER. I've learned so much about what my body truly needed to heal and become healthier and it's been a very humbling experience. Becoming an Online Coach has forever changed my life and I am going to be doing this forever. Why? Because I'm held MORE accountable. My clients are held MORE accountable. And lastly what we do is not JUST nutrition or a Quick Fix, It's eating REAL food, working out (in a gym or at home....or outside!) With a BIG focus on mindset and community. We are a group of people who are instilling a belief in ourselves of love. We don't focus on our health because we hate ourselves. It's because we love ourselves and we want to lead a LONG HEALTHY life we are proud of. β

Healthy and No Work
Ya ever look at healthy food pics and think..."I should eat that. But I don't want to put in the work."??

Well you aren't alone. I STILL think that. I would buy veggies and think THIS TIME WILL BE DIFFERENT!!!!! And alas it's STILL A struggle. But I will tell ya one thing that's helped me. Talking to myself as if I was a Child and my more mature healthier smarter and better looking self was giving me words of advice. Because lets face it...... I'm a rebel and always will be. I don't like people telling me what to do(that's why I work for myself) but FOR SOME REASON when I talk to myself this way then I listen. Does that make sense? Am I cray!? ......Dont answer that. πππ

Anyway my convo usually goes something like this...
"Sarah, you are a freaking Adult!!!! You CAN eat better. But WILL YOU!? Will you get up, shop for what you ALREADY KNOW you should eat or will you just sit there scrolling pics of recipes you will never try!? π€¦π€¦π€¦
....
So I listen. And I run to the grocery stores.... then the next battle starts...
...
"SARAH!!!!! Remember you bought those veggies!??! And now they are starting to brown because you are TOO LAZY to cut them up!? Like for realz. What a freaking waste. You are blessed beyond measure to be able to go to a store, to afford to buy that food...then you are gonna let it go to waste!? What the freak!?!?! π€·π€·π€·

After that I do get up, go the kitchen & take 5 min to make a salad and remember that my LAZY brain is always trying to sabatoge me. I feel so guilty admitting all of this but maybe if you are the same then try it. And ALSO write it down. Then read it aloud. It's like an "I love you enough to put you in your place" kinda love note to yourself π I hope it helps you too!!!!!
