What We're Exposed To

After spending almost 20 years in the fitness world, I've learned something that maybe you weren't aware of too...

Being healthy isn't just about working out and eating your vegetables.

It's also about what we're exposed to EVERYSINGLE DAY

The lotions we rub on our skin.
The cleaners we spray in our homes(and breathe in).
The laundry detergent our clothes are washed in.

I used to think you had to be "crunchy" to care about ingredients.

Turns out... you don't.

You don't have to drink raw milk, grow your own food, or swear off Tylenol to make healthier choices.

But I do think it's worth paying attention to ingredients like:
Ammonia
Phthalates
Parabens
Formaldehyde-releasing ingredients
Harsh chemicals like bleach and chlorine

One thing I've been learning about lately is obesogens.

Obesogens are chemicals that research suggests may interfere with our hormones and metabolism, potentially making it easier to store fat or harder for our bodies to regulate weight. It's fascinating and honestly made me look at everyday products a little differently.

Will swapping ONE product change your life overnight?

Probably not.

But just like one workout doesn't make you fit... and one healthy meal doesn't transform your health...

Small choices, repeated over time, can make a big difference. Hello Compound Effect(great book btw).....

That's why I'm so passionate about simple swaps for my #boujieeonabudget friends. Not because I'm chasing perfection, but because I believe reducing toxic load exposure is a HUGE step in the right direction.

Who knew, saving money could be so healthy!? I'm so glad I found this store, and with a 97% re order rate, it looks like my friends are happy here too.
