La Sagrada Familia

If you ever visit Barcelona you MUST go to La Sagrada Familia! This beautiful Basilica was built by Antoni Goudi from the time he was 31 until he died at 74.

He only ever saw part of this built but he designed it.

He died by being hit by a tram on his way to work crossing the street. He laid in the street for 9 hours asking for help while onlookers thought he was a homeless person and ignored him.

He was taken to a hospital only to die 3 days later.

If his work & story teaches us anything I hope it shows us that every ONE matters and we as people should look into eachothers eyes & acknowledge that we ALL have value in this world, not by just what we do or our titles but as a human being.

His work and his story reminds me that life is too short and we should strive to be a good human to EVERY ONE we encounter on this home we ALL call earth. #antonigoudi #goudi #lasagradafamilia
