July 21st

JULY 21ST is a happy day for us.💕
Yup, first date in June 2007, July 21st he proposed (see pics👌🏼) and October we were married.(2007)

Some people call that cray, but to me it's called REAL love. We both came from childhoods where miscommunication was the norm so for us, we NEEDED something different and we don't believe in our past telling our future. To us, we believe in the PRESENT DAY and we know that to stay in love we choose it and show it through our actions.

We never assume the other is going to do something because we expect it. Instead, we treat each other the way we want to be loved...and not in just one love language....ALL.OF.THEM.

Of course we have had a few arguments bc life isn't all rainbows and unicorn poop 🌈🦄💩 But we choose to talk through the struggles and make sure we are both heard and loved through it rather than let resentment and blame become our marriage.

We play games together. We support each others dreams. We chat over coffee. We forgive easily and NEVER put each other down, to ourselves or in front others.

I share that to say, marriage can & should be be amazing. Just talk about what you need and be the bestest friend they could ask for.

There's a few things I'm truly proud of in my life and my marriage to Eddie is at the top of that list. Love you Ed Placencia 💕 and always will 💕
