Over-Training

Truth moment....I used to look at exercise like a punishment for over-eating so I would spend hours on the treadmill in my teens. It then transitioned to binge eating and using my scale EVERY TIME I went to the bathroom.....ummmm yea, definitely not healthy.....then it turned into teaching SOOOO many fitness classes that I could literally eat like crap and I wouldn't really gain weight....but my joints were sore, I didn't sleep well and I felt TERRIBLE ALL THE TIME. πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

Then something clicked....not something.....but COACHING Clicked. I realized I was so fake on the inside and if I wanted to ACTUALLY help others then I needed to HELP MYSELF FIRST. So I cut back teaching fitness classes because overtraining IS dangerous yo......And I started committing to drinking more water, eating more veggies, and more sleep....OH THE GLORIOUS SLEEPS.😍 and I also checked in with my workouts..πŸ’β€β™€οΈπŸ’β€β™€οΈand.... Well, there's still times I question if I'm doing ENOUGH because I'm into Week #7 of my lifting program and to be honest with you I was worried going from a one hour workout 6 days a week to a 35 minute workout 4 days a week would mean losing my strength and muscle mass.......NOPE! Seems that my body enjoys the rest and carbs....and I'm not giving up either ✊✊✊
