What Do I Eat?
When people ask me what I eat my reply in my head is is usually "FOOD. LIKE ACTUAL, FOOD." ππ€£No pills. No cleanses.No weight loss coffee(listen coffee already makes me π© so no thanksππΌ.....and No 5 shakes a day. No "diet" foods. No sugar-free anything. No "foods" that come out of a box that will expire 30 years from now.....etc. π
So what do I ACTUALLY EAT!?!? In my HOLIDAY HUSTLE GROUP we are all logging our food each day(and trying to cut back on added sugar this week). So after I checked in for the night, I thought I would also share here too! ππΌππΌππΌππΌ
ππΌBreakfast.... 2 cups of coffee with organic half and half
ππΌSnack....natural peanut butter & a banana
ππΌDinner....sweet as honey chicken with rice and sugar snap peas(forgot to take a pic bc I scarfed it) but it was frickin amazing! #ilovehellofresh
ππΌraspberry Tea with honey
ππΌDessert... vegan strawberry superfoods smoothie with frozen berries and water(I'm planning on drinking it in about an hour bc that's when I want sweets)
ππΌmidnight snack.. . smart pop popcorn(I'm writing it down bc I know I will want some later and don't want to come back to edit this post ππ

Ya know how ya know you have grown from years of personal development!?!!?!....
You learn how to take a compliment.
I just re-wrote a message from a friend who said.....
"I want to be like you when I grow up."
My response was...
"Thanks, but I'm not that cool." ....
Then I rewrote it saying ..."Thanks, we ALL cool!"
For YEARS(including the message I got today) if I would hear someone say something nice and I would totally discredit what they would say...usually with sarcasm. Ummmm, can you say JERK!?!? πππ
I would rarely just say "THANK YOU." I had to explain myself or put myself down to prove thier compliment wrong and it's because I didn't believe it. I thought...."oh, they are just being nice"....or "they must want something in return." Seriously. That's what I thought!!!! I now realize that most people ARE KIND. I still have to catch my JERK-SELF from ruining my life but it just takes that extra few seconds to stop and see the positive rather than look for the negative.

Do you relate to this!!?!? I think there's a little "jerk" in all of us...so, the next time someone gives you a compliment I want you to only say 2 WORDS.

- The ONE Thing
This quote stood out to me today because 2 words have been with me these last few years "FREEDOM" & "EMPOWERMENT." First, I wanted it for myself, & now I want it for others.
A few years ago those words meant nothing to me. Personal development meant nothing. The word "Successful" made me bitter.....and it's because I didn't even allow myself to dream BIG. I was also soooo envious of those that were successful. And for that, I put a cap on my own success. I was afraid of the word SUCCESS. To me I thought if I wanted MORE I would have to DO MORE. For someone who didn't get even halfway through college and a C student all through HS (yes I was the class clown, constant talker & guard Basketball player, #hoosier I just want to have fun ya'll πβπΌ).. I thought I was destined to ALWAYS be behind when it came to SUCCESS.
ππ½ββοΈAnd BIG Success. Oh yeeeaaahhhh right!!!!!...that meant a BIG Possibility for BIG FAILURE. No thanks βββ
Then in 2014 I finally realized.....
"THIS. SUCKS." I had hit a wall and that wall was my OWN tiny box I had built around myslef. I didn't ACTUALLY try because I was too scared of the thought...."WHAT IF I FAIL?!"
But I started to hear...."WHAT IF I SUCCEED!?!?" So yea. What if?!!??! So I imagined what that would look like and FINALLY told myself it was OH- KAYYYY to dreamπ€π€π€ to me that meant.....
ππΌSleeping in and sweats all day
ππΌNot working for anyone else. Ever.again.
ππΌRetiring Eddie from his job so we could hang all day π & we both pursue what we enjoy...
ππΌTraveling every month
ππΌBuying a house
I think you know how this story goes and I still can't believe it all has happened....all while I was also teaching 15 fitness classes per week (I've since cut back and my knees thank me π)
My dreams are actually a little bigger now.
ππΌHelp others DREAM BIGGER & HELP THEM ALSO ACHIEVE IT.
ππΌBuy a beach house so I don't have to rent one for my Coach retreats anymore π

We made it home!!!! We left our itunes on and it played the same song from my Zumba Mega mix over 1,000x .....sorry #maithekitty π€£ππ€£ she was a little upset but I think shes over it now.
I still needed to get my Virtual Workout in & 37 min later.... done!!! I had to get week 3ππΌ caught up!!!!
It probably helps that our HOLIDAY HUSTLE accountability group is now filled with over 600 people and counting!!!!! You guys motivate me so much!!!!! πππππΌ

The Best Fries
Well...I usually have a HEALTHY eating plan on road trips.....but I heard someone talking about 5 guys burgers and fries....and had to find the next burger and fries place....second best optionππ½ββοΈ Steak & Shake. Man, oh man they have the BEST FRIES. πππ I know I say abs are made in the kitchen, but hey. I'm human. I'm happy. And occasional treats are ohhh-kayyyyy πππΌ
Plans
Planning to succeed is one way to live life...and not planning at all is another way to live.
For me, I had NO PLAN. I was HOPING good things would happen TO me. I would see others with success and think..."they are just lucky"..."the timing was perfect for them"..."if only I did this sooner in life"...."I'm not one of those go-getters"....."I've already failed too many times"...."I don't have a pro photographer taking pics of me all day long for a perfect IG" π€£
Too many times I didn't even TRY to succeed because I thought I ALREADY knew the outcome. I have believed lie after lie and have been taught to live life a certain way....

These New truths are what I became to believe, but guys, it didn't happen over night. I invested in personal development. I reached out to mentors who I once envied & I thought were conceited and "lucky" and in all honesty drove me NUTS over the fact that I needed THEIR help....lol ...TALK ABOUT EGO SARAHπππ but I got over it. Thank Tha Lawd. And the good news is I'm happy. I found my calling. I've helped people. I have FREEDOM. I don't wake up with dread about money anymore. I get to work from home with Eddie now.#photobomber . I re-wrote my story and let me tell you....IT'S WORTH IT.πππ
If Fear is what's holding you back because you also believe in False Truths then know its Possible to change your mindset & story. Don't let Fear of Failure hold you back...instead be Fearful of Regret...you live this life once.
We can't change our past so forgive yourself. Forgive others. And move towards a life you only dream about.

Multitasking
I always used to think that MULTI-TASKING was a great thing...I would even say I was good at it....but that couldn't be further from the truth.
Our minds are meant to focus on ONE task at a time. Sure we can walk and talk at the same time but when we are on our phone while spending time with family or friends then we must realize that we are NOT being present. We are distracted and becoming BETTER at being distracted. Every 14 seconds a new idea pops into our mind and if we aren't focused on what matters most, then we continue to chase another thought....or another idea.
Did you know we also lose about 28% of our day because of trying to multi-task!?!?!?! I see it ALL THE TIME and it makes sense that (ESPECIALLY ONLINE) people are distracted by NEW and shiny things ALL day long. Yes, Im talking to Fellow Online Entrepreneurs ππ’ We spend money in hopes of new results but we NEVER have enough focus to actually FINISH ANYTHING. We have not become GREAT at a a few things in life...instead we have become mediocre at A LOT OF THINGS... our job, relationships and even our passions have taken a backseat to our distractions and our Multi-tasking. ππ
WE.ARE.SPREAD.TOO.THIN.
So what do we do!?!?!?! Well finish reading this post for starters π

Practice being in the moment. Leave your phone in your purse or pocket the next time you are with people. Trust me, they already think you are a jerk for texting while they are talking.πππ When you show ACTUAL interest in them they will mirror you and also become better listeners. Trust me.

Yes, you knew I would throw that in there πBECAUSE IT'S FREAKIN TRUE!!!! Exercise triggers endorphins and you are able prioritize better and block out distractions. #googleit

Add in Personal development daily. Start with 15 minutes....you will see how HARD it is to focus even that long so that's WHY you need it!!!!!

Not About Perfect
33 days until the New Year π .... annnnd yep I haven't eaten the greatest these last few weeks(including 2 bagels with a LOT of butter I had yesterday) but because I wasn't great on nutrition I DIDN'T say ...."Screw it, I'm waiting until the new year to get healthy!" ....those that think that way are pretty much driving a car with a flat tire....and instead of fixing it they are going to wait until ALL of thier tires are flat and THEN get thier car fixed. π€πππ½ββοΈ It's sad we treat our cars, or new phones, or anything else BETTER than we treat our own bodies.
THAT. STOPS.NOW.
